Art Vasquez
President, West Central Region
Art Vasquez was appointed president of IU Health West Central Region in June 2021. Prior to this role, Vasquez was chief operating officer for the IU Health Indianapolis Suburban Region, he joined IU Health in 2016 as chief operating and financial officer of IU Health West and was promoted to president in 2018. Prior to joining IU Health, Vasquez served as the chief financial officer and vice president of finance for St. Catherine’s Hospital Inc. in East Chicago and prior to that as assistant vice president at Kaufman, Hall & Associates in Illinois.
Vasquez serves on the boards of Indiana Latino Institute, La Plaza, Inc. and the Indiana Health Fund. He holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from DePaul University, and a master’s degree from Purdue University – Hammond and is a certified public accountant.

Jeff Zeh
Chief Operating Officer
Jeff Zeh joined IU Health as the president of IU Health White Memorial Hospital in February 2015. In November 2016, Jeff was named chief operating officer of the West Central Region. Prior to joining IU Health, Jeff had extensive healthcare leadership experience as the vice president of Navion Healthcare Solutions. Previously, he held several senior leadership roles with the now Franciscan Health at Lafayette St. Elizabeth Hospital, Home Hospital and St. Claire Hospital in Crawfordsville.
Jeff is originally from Frankfort but is a long time West Lafayette resident, where he graduated from Purdue University with a degree in communication and advertising. He also received his master’s degree from Indiana University in health administration.
Jeff and his wife Beth have three children and reside in West Lafayette.

Todd Williams
Chief Financial Officer
Todd Williams was appointed chief financial officer of the West Central Region of IU Health in October 2018.
Prior to joining IU Health, Williams worked for Cardinal Health in financial and operational vice president roles. He spent time in Germany, where he successfully aligned cross-business and cross-functional teams to establish metrics to manage performance, measure progress, drive accountability and improve communication to key stakeholders. He was part of the leadership team responsible for the development of a refreshed organizational design, aiding in the development of key roles in the updated organizational structure.
Before that, he served as CFO for the Indiana Public Employees’ Retirement Fund and held various financial leadership and process improvement roles at Eli Lilly and Company. Williams has a bachelor’s degree in accounting and an MBA from Indiana University.

Christopher Mansfield, MD
Interim Co-Chief Medical Officer
Christopher Mansfield, MD started his career at IU Health Arnett in 2009 as a Hospitalist. Over the past decade he has been an influential clinician and leader within our region’s hospitals. Most recently, with the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, he committed significant energy to the Associate Chief Medical Officer for Adult Hospital Medicine.
Mansfield is committed to a collaborative relationship with his patients and their families including a strong emphasis on medical excellence and active communication.
Mansfield is a graduate of Saba University, Netherlands Antilles. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Exempla Saint Joseph Hospital.
Mansfield, a Lafayette native and Lafayette Jeff graduate, returned to the community from Denver, CO in 2009 to practice Hospitalist Medicine. He is married to his wife, Nicole, and they have 7 beautiful children. While maintaining his strong interest in fitness and athletics, Mansfield highly values time spent with extended family and friends. A proud Indiana University alumnus, Mansfield is nevertheless an enthusiastic Boilermaker fan.

Kishan Patel, MD
Interim Co-Chief Medical Officer
Kishan Patel, MD joined IU Health Arnett in 2006 as a Family Medicine Physician. Over the years he has had impactful clinical and leadership roles within Primary Care and the Family Medicine Residency Program. Most recently, with the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, he stepped in with enthusiasm to serve as Associate Chief Medical Officer for Ambulatory Clinic Practice. He maintains his practice in Urgent Care.
Patel strives for personalized attention while answering all of his patients’ questions. He provides high-quality care using evidence-based medicine to instill comfort during his patients visits.
Patel is a graduate of University of Silesia, Katowice, Poland. He completed his residency at the University North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences.
Patel and his wife, Minal consider the greater Lafayette community home. Their son Kian and daughter Myka were born at IU Health Arnett Hospital. Patel is a fan of football and can be found cheering on the Colts and the Boilermakers. He enjoys golf and is willing to play anytime, any day.

Allison Shuttz
Chief Nursing Officer
Allison Shuttz, MSN, RN, NE-BC was appointed chief nursing officer for IU Health Arnett and the West Central Region in November 2020.
Allison began her nursing career at IU Health in the Neuro Critical Care (NCC) unit at IU Health Methodist Hospital in 2004. Since that time, she has served in nursing roles in Neuro Critical Care and Intensive Care. In addition, Allison has a proven track record of success in a variety of leadership roles including: Nursing Associate Administrator, Manager of Clinical Operations in Cardiac Medical Critical Care, Administrative Director of Inpatient Services at IU Health Arnett Hospital, and interim CNO for IU Health Arnett and the West Central Region since August 2020.
Allison holds master’s and bachelor’s degrees in nursing from the University of Indianapolis. In addition, she is an American Organization of Nursing Leadership member. During her career she has received numerous awards and recognitions including being nominated for the IU Health Values Leadership Award in 2017.
Allison and her husband Eric live in Rossville, Indiana with their four children: Dylan, Conner, Mackenzie and Noah.

Koreen Kyhnell
VP of Human Resources & Administration
Koreen Kyhnell joined IU Health Arnett in June 1997 as director of human resources and was promoted to vice president in 2003. Previous to joining IU Health Arnett, Kyhnell had 10 years of experience in human resource management in manufacturing, distribution and retail. She holds a bachelor of science in retail management from Purdue University
Kyhnell and her husband, Karl, have two boys. Her personal interests include her son's sports activities, Purdue University football and basketball, the Chicago Cubs and reading
